Humans are one of the two races that inhabit the Steel Continent, ruled by the Steel King. They cohabit with Orcs.
Appearance
Humans have flesh with a dark or tan skin color, and do not have tails. They are notably one of the few races with hair.
Physiology
Humans are on the lower end of the spectrum for pure strength or endurance, their own cohabitant Orcs being heavier and bulkier than them.
The Wrath
Humans (and some select Orcs) all have an inherent rage that they can more easily draw from than other races. When their Wrath is aroused, their eyes turn bloodshot and they become stronger. The Wrath never affects any two humans the exact same way, some might become insanely strong but short sighted, or they might only be marginally be stronger in exchange for cold and calculated thinking. It is described by some as “briefly becoming fully Human”.
Population distribution
Humans are mostly found in the Steel Continent, strongly concentrated in the top half of the continent, to the south. Their strongest concentration is found in the tourist trap nation of Neyanik, and have roughly equal number to the Orcs in Vol’nya.
Humans are not a reclusive race by nature, being the most prolific race along with Orcs and Lizardken. A large percentage of wandering mercenaries or swords-for-hire are Humans, giving them a reputation for being warlike.
Culture
Human culture, like any race culture, varies heavily from nation to nation, or even city to city. Almost all of them, however, have their roots in common Steelic culture, which is being a carefree and warlike lot.
