Orcs are one of the two races that inhabit the Steel Continent, ruled by the Steel King. They cohabit with Humans.

Appearance

Orcs have flesh with a dark or tanned skin color of three varieties; Blue, red and green. The hue of their skin is dependent on where they are born in a curious display of purely geographical genetics, as opposed to inherited genes.

Tusks are also a prominent feature of most Orcs, varying by gender. Males have shorter, stubbier tusks; to the point where some outright just remove them (or alternatively born without them). On the opposite side of the scale, females have longer and thicker tusks, with the longest on average reaching just at nostril level.

Orcs also have hair. Not everyone is bald.

Physiology

Orcs are burlier and bigger than Humans, but this is by no means an indicator that they are inherently dumber or more warlike than their peers. They often find themselves the calmer lot of the two Steelic races, in stereotypes at least. They are innately stronger than Humans, about as strong as Dwarves and Lizardken, and marginally weaker than Drakken. There isn’t enough data to compare to the average Ironkin or Plantkin.

The Wrath, or lack thereof

Orcs do not have an innate Wrath like the Humans do, but they make up for it by generally being better than humans in most mental fields. Some say a Human experiencing Wrath becomes ‘more Orc-like’, but it is a highly contested claim.

Population distribution

Orcs are mostly found in the Steel Continent, strongly concentrated in the Bottom half of the continent, to the south. Their strongest concentration is found in the religious center of the kingdom, Stalle. They have a roughly equal number to the Humans in Vol’nya and Valaast.

Orcs are not a reclusive race by nature, being the most prolific race along with Humans and Lizardken. A good percentage of wandering mercenaries or swords-for-hire are Orcs, just below Humans.

Culture

Orc culture, like Human culture, varies heavily from nation to nation, or even city to city. Almost all of them, however, have their roots in common Steelic culture, which is being a carefree and warlike lot.
